Publications: New releases and by series
Publication charging
From 23 November 2009, BITRE will be charging a fee for the supply of hard copies of most new release publications. The fee will range from $30.00 to $60.00 per copy depending on the length of the publication, inclusive of GST and postage/handling. Information Sheets that are produced in hard copy will continue to be provided free of charge. The applicable fee for each publication will be advised on the BITRE website at the time of release. Orders for hard copies of new release publications must be made online via the BITRE website only, and the applicable payment made by credit card at time of ordering. PDF downloads and hard copies of BITRE's back catalogue of publications that are available in current stock at 23 November 2009 will remain free of charge.BITRE Series
Reports publish the results of major studies of transport and or regional related issues.
Working Papers report the results of less significant studies of transport or regional related issues.
Information Papers primarily cover major systematic data series or information collections.
Information Sheets are summaries of key transport and regional related issues likely to be of wider community interest.
Journals showcase BITRE's two statistical publications Avline and Waterline.
Monitoring Reports exclusively cover the Bureau's annual review of the Bass Strait Passenger Vehicle Equalisation Scheme (BSPVES), as required under the Ministerial Directions to the Scheme.
Staff papers are prepared by BTRE staff either for conferences or as background to research.
